A quick and delicious dessert, which I recommend on weekends.

  • 400 g puff pastry
  • 4-5 apples
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 5 tablespoons caster sugar
  • vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • mint leaves (decoration)

Servings: 8

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

Allow the dough to thaw at room temperature. Separately, peel the apples and seeds, then cut them into pieces.

Put the sugar in a round tray (the one where you will make the tart) and let it caramelize.

When the sugar has melted, add the butter and mix vigorously.

Place the apple slices over this caramel.

Roll out the dough into a sheet, then cover the tray with apples with this sheet. Cut out the surplus from others.

Prick the dough with a fork and then bake on medium heat for approx. 30 minutes (until the dough is browned).

Remove the cake from the oven, place it upside down on a plate with a short movement, so that the part with the apples comes on top.

Leave for a few more minutes for the sauce to drain, then peel off the tray.

Portion the dessert and serve it with vanilla ice cream and fresh mint.

Good appetite!
