Plum dumplings

We wash and clean the potatoes, then we boil them in water with a pinch of salt and lemon peel. We wash the plums, cut them in half, remove the seeds and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over them. The boiled potatoes drain the water. , crush them like puree, then add butter, flour, salt and eggs. Knead until you get a sticky dough. We help ourselves with a little oil on our hands to knead the dough. Be careful, it is a lying dough that requires a lot of flour. Add more if you find it too soft, but not too much because they will harden very much when cooked.

biscuit- Heat the butter in a pan, add the breadcrumbs and stir continuously until slightly browned. Do not leave too much because it burns and becomes bitter. Add the sugar and cinnamon after turning off the heat.

We prepare the dumplings.

We roll our hands and break pieces of dough, flatten, incorporate the plums, one by one and form dumplings.

The dough must be perfectly glued, otherwise it will dissolve when boiled. We boil them in water with a pinch of salt, after the water has boiled. Turn on low heat and leave for 4-5 minutes, until the dumplings rise above. If they don't get up, help them with a spatula, because they've probably stuck. Remove them with a foamer and roll them in breadcrumbs with sugar and cinnamon. We put them on a plate and let them cool. Then they are good to taste. :)
