cup nonfat milk
heaping tablespoons caramel sauce
Whipped cream (optional)
Heat the milk in a small saucepan on a burner set to medium heat. Stir in the caramel until well-combined and dispersed throughout.
Serve immediately with whipped cream and an additional drizzle of caramel.

Copycat Starbucks Caramel Macchiato Recipe
This Starbucks Caramel Macchiato Recipe is by far my favorite Starbucks copycat Recipe to make at home. This homemade Caramel Macchiato Recipe is easy to make and tastes just like what you get when you take a drive thru the Starbucks drive thru!
- Put the butter in a medium saucepan and add both sugars. Cook over medium heat until the butter is melted, whisking to combine, then cook, stirring constantly with a heatproof spatula or a wooden spoon, until the butterscotch begins to smoke, 5 to 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking and stirring until the butterscotch is very dark and registers 300°F (150°C)—or very slightly above—on an instant-read thermometer, about 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and very carefully whisk in the water to stop the cooking. Whisk in the cream, then whisk in the milk, rum, if using, and salt. Gently reheat over low heat, stirring (the acid in the sugars will cause the mixture to break if overheated). Drink right away, or pour into a Thermos for sipping later.
- Do Ahead: The butterscotch drink can be made ahead, cooled, transferred to a lidded container, and refrigerated for up to 5 days. Reheat as instructed in step 2 above.

Caramel drizzle is wonderful on ice cream, cakes, apple pies, bread pudding and many other desserts.
This caramel drizzle is delicious and a recipe you will make over and over again. You can double the recipe, it keeps well in the fridge and is also wonderful on pancakes and waffles. Your friends and family will love having this on any dessert you serve them. Try drizzling this over bananas or banana splits. Children as well as adults love this easy drizzle recipe. Make some strong coffee
To make this caramel latte, you need one cup of strong coffee. To make that, use more coffee grounds and less water to have a strongly flavored cup of coffee. While the coffee is brewing, continue with the remaining steps.
Prepare the milk
Heat cold milk, caramel sauce and sugar over medium heat until bubbles start appearing on the edges and the caramel sauce and sugar have dissolved completely. Transfer the milk and caramel sauce mixture to a blender and blend for about three minutes until it's frothy.
Make the latte
Fill one-third to half of each cup with hot coffee and top with the milk and caramel mixture. Spoon the froth on top and drizzle more caramel sauce if you prefer.
